Director's Profile (Suleiman Brothers)

Jordan and Mussadique Suleiman are a creative partnership that speicalizes in hand drawn animation, 3D and 2D motion graphics, video compositing as well as image processing. While Mussadique is a self-professed science and software coding geek, Jordan is a self-taught computer graphics and animation artist of great imagination and flair. Their production company - Studio Voxel - has been responsible for a wide range of artistic, commercial and corporate work – the most noted have been AIM Award winning music videos for artist Pete Teo entitled ‘Arms Of Marianne’ and ‘Lost In America’. Mussadique and Jordan’s fluency in the technical aspects of CGI production, combined with their understanding for symbolism and semiotics, makes for work that is rich both in visual imagination and texture meaning. Their mastery of open source and customized software also means that they often produce work that transcends tight budgetary constraints. They are currently working towards making a feature length animation movie.

Synopsis

Rojak! A Rojak seller’s take on Malaysia’s multi-faceted social political tapestry. Made entirely with CGI special effects. Visually stunning.
