Mechanics

• Log on to www.p1.com.my/15my or www.ruumz.com/15Malaysia and watch the unique 15Malaysia short films displayed in the main page.
• To enter the contest(s), Participants must share these videos to as many friends as possible via the sharing tools provided and fill in their name, NRIC, email and contact number.
• The Participants must ensure that their selected friends view these videos to enable the Participants to earn points.

Eligibility

• The MFMS Contest(s) shall be held from 17th August 2009 to the 30th September 2009.
• This Contest is open to all individuals with a valid Malaysian New Identification Number only (“Participants”). Invalid entries will not be entertained.
• Employees of Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and ruumzNation Sdn Bhd (“The Company”), agencies, and sponsors are not eligible to participate in the Contest(s). Associate companies including parent and subsidiary companies of Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and ruumzNation Sdn Bhd are eligible to participate.
• The Company may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest(s) duration at any time without giving any prior notice. Participants participating in the Contest(s) during the extended period shall be governed by this Contest Terms and Conditions.
• The Company reserves the right to use your basic information, such as; photo, name, age, gender. In no way will we breach your privacy and use your sensitive information for marketing purposes.

Selection

• The Participant with the highest number of videos viewed on the shared list will be rewarded..
• Each video is considered as one view. Multiple viewing of one video is also counted as one view.
• The selection of winners will be at the discretion of The Company.

Prizes

• The prizes for the Contest
  Grand Prize: 1 x 24months P1 Wiggy subscription and 1 x Acer Netbook
  2 Runner Up(each): 1 x 12 months P1 Wiggy subscription and 1 x Acer Netbook
• All rewards are given on an ‘As Is’ basis. The Company reserves the right to substitute any of the rewards in whole or in part with one of a similar value at its sole and absolute discretion at any time without prior notice, liability, and compensation to any finalists.

Judging

• The decision of the judges is final and no further claims will be entertained.

Notification & Collection of Rewards

• Winners will be announced on www.p1.com.my. Redemption of prizes are only available on Monday – Friday from 10:00am – 5:00pm (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays)
• Participants are eligible to win one prize only throughout the duration of the Contest(s).
• The Company reserves the right to use any other method or medium it deems fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the Winners.
• The Company reserves the right to use the Winners’ or representatives’ names/photograph for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes at its sole discretion.
• The Company reserves the right to forfeit unclaimed rewards and the rewards may be donated to charity at The Company sole and absolute discretion.
• Proof of mailing, faxing or delivery in any manner whatsoever does not denote proof that The Company has received such details.
• Rewards must be claimed one month after the Winners are announced. Late collections will not be entertained.
• Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash. The value for the prizes mentioned on the ruumz.com Website is for reference only. The value of the prizes may vary from time to time, without prior notice.
• As far as permitted by law, The Company and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the rewards details beyond the control of The Company and for any acts or defaults of any third party supplier.
• The Company reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete, substitute or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice.

Other Terms

• The Winners of the Contest(s) agree to assign all intellectual property rights of the pictures submitted to The Company. As such, The Company will have full rights to the picture usage for any above and below-the-line marketing activities and any other activities. In addition, winners may be requested to participate in public relations events tied to the campaign to generate press coverage of the contest and the accessories range. This may include, but not be limited to, quotes given for inclusion in press releases and press conferences, interviews, etc.
• The Company reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the rules and regulations of these contests.
• The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant and/or Finalist who is found, or suspected of, tampering with the Contest(s) submission process, the operation of the Contest(s) or to be in violation and/or breach the Terms and Conditions and/or the Terms and Conditions in the ruumz.com Website. The Company reserves the right to pursue legal action against any individual it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful to the Contest(s) or the Contest submission process.
• The Participants and/or Finalists agree to release and hold The Company free and harmless of any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions, costs and expenses of any kind in connection with the Contest(s) or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation to, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
• The Participant and/or Finalists agree to indemnify The Company on a full indemnity basis with respect to any claim, suit or proceedings of whatever nature brought by any of the winners beneficiaries and/or third party in respect of the acceptance and/or use of the rewards.
• ruumzNationSdn Bhd is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of The Company’s telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet.
• The Company reserves the right:
  
  • (i) to amend, revise, supplement, delete, vary or add to these terms and conditions without prior notice at any time and the Finalists shall be bound by such changes, amendments, revisions, supplements, deletions, variations or additions;
  • (ii) at any time to change any aspect of the Contest(s) (including widening the scope of the Contest or replacing the prizes offered) without prior notice but such terms and conditions shall not affect the continuation of the Contest(s) duration.
  • (iii) at its sole discretion modify the Contest(s) in the event of unforeseen circumstances due to a force majeure event
• By participating in the Contest(s) the Participant fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by the Contest terms and conditions.

Mechanics

• To enter the contest(s), Participants must log on to their Ruumz profile and upload a video together with a brief description of the video. Participant’s profiles must contain their name as per NRIC, email and contact number.
• The Participants must ensure that P1MFS is their ruumate and tag the video with the P1MFS profile.
• All entries shall be viewable in p1mfs.ruumz.com throughout the Contest period.

Eligibility

• The P1MFS S & W Contest(s) shall be held from 24th August 2009 to the 18th October 2009. All completed videos ("entries") must be uploaded via the respective ruumz profile by 11.59p.m. on the 18th October 2009
• This Contest is open to all individuals aged 13 and above and residing in Malaysia at the time of the contest ("Participants"). Invalid entries will not be entertained.
• Employees of Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and ruumzNation Sdn Bhd ("The Company"), agencies, and sponsors are not eligible to participate in the Contest(s). Associate companies including parent and subsidiary companies of Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and ruumzNation Sdn Bhd are also not eligible to participate.

Entry Requirements

• All entries must be 1 to 5 minutes in duration, must not be more than 100MB (Max size), must be submitted in any one of these formats 3gp, ASF, DAT, DV, WMV, MOV, MP4, MPG2, FLV, SWF, AVI and GV.
• Entries may be in any local vernacular language, but it must be subtitled in English.
• The entries must be the original creation of the Participant and any copyrighted material used in the video must have been given expressed permission by the copyright owner prior to submission.
• Entries that have been submitted in any other contest or awards of similar contest will be disqualified.
• Entry is deem disqualified if it contains any profanity, nudity, pornographic images or explicit sexual themes, graphic violence, defamatory or libellous statements, material considered illegal, anti-government messages or racially discriminatory content.

Selection

• Winner(s) will be selected based on originality, creativity, message significance and emotional impact of the submission
• The selection of winners will be at the discretion of The Company.

Prizes

• The prize(s) for the Contest are as follows:
  Prize : 1 x Macbook Pro

• Each Participants grant the Company an indefinite, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license ("License") to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, publish, broadcast, stream, make derivative works of and otherwise exploit in any manner the entries for the contest and/or in any activities connected with the public relations initiatives of P1 Malaysian Filmmaker Showcase. The Company reserves the right to request and be granted the hardcopy of the entry submitted for marketing and public relations initiatives.
